From our Pastor... I am convinced that if we will be faithful and passionate about sharing the Gospel and praying, God will do amazing things! Pastor's Prayer Partners is our way of investing our lives together in fervent prayer. Let me invite you to consider serving in our prayer ministry:
1. Prayer Partners meet on Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in the Pastor's Study. Partners will be divided into groups to pray over our church facilities (pews, altar, pulpit, choir loft, classrooms, offices, nursery, parking, grounds, etc.) At 9:15 a.m. everyone meets back in the Sanctuary for a time of group prayer for our services.
2. "Prayer Warriors" are those people who would be willing to sign up to pray for an hour while our worship services are being conducted. These people will be in Charles Mauldin Sunday School class lifting up the service. Can you imagine what God will do when we bathe our worship and preaching in such prayer?!
3. "Altar Warriors" are people who will commit to having an altar ministry during our worship services. The idea is that there should never be anyone who comes to the altar alone. These "Altar Warriors" will serve to offer support for those needed encouragement and also help lead the lost responding to the message and invitation to Christ.
4. Prayer Guide Partners: I'd like to have 75 people commit to being active in our prayer ministry by using the prayer guide on a daily basis.
